The Department of Dentistry offers every discipline of quality dentistry, including general restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, pedodontics, orthodontics and periodontics, and is readily available to the community at affordable fees. Medicaid is accepted. There is a very active residency program that is fully approved by the American Dental Association and is a major teaching affiliate of the New York University College of Dentistry.

Department members provide preventive dentistry programs to school children as well as to every segment of our population. Oral cancer screening programs are frequently performed at all our health fairs.

The Chairman, Dr. Alvin I. Orlian, is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Clinical Professor at N.Y.U. College of Dentistry. Likewise, there are specialists in every field of dental treatment offered in our clinic.
