The Interfaith Chapel, located on the fourth floor (4 West, to the right of the elevator), is open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily for prayer and meditation. The Chaplain's office is located inside the 3 West day room. A Chaplain is available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of medical center holidays. A priest chaplain is available for sacraments upon request of the family and may be contacted through the switchboard.

Members of the pastoral care staff provide a variety of services such as patient and family visits, religious literature, offer prayers, spiritual counsel, as well as notification of your pastor, priest, rabbi, imam, or spiritual leader upon your admission or at any time during your stay. All non-emergency requests for pastoral care services may be made by calling extension 3160 and leaving your name, room number, and nature of your request.

Holy Communion for Catholics is distributed six days a week. A Catholic Mass is held once a week (see chapel bulletin board for schedule), usually at 11:30 a.m. On holy days, Mass is celebrated at 12:00 noon in the auditorium. Other sacramental rites are scheduled upon request.

Fresh kosher food is available under the supervision of Vaad Harbonim of Queens. Kosher selections are listed on your menu. Electric Sabbath candles will be supplied upon request.
