MediSys Health Network Appoints New General Counsel

The MediSys Health Network has appointed Margaret M. Johnson, Esq. as General Counsel announced Network President and CEO, David P. Rosen. She will continue to serve as Senior Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, a position she has held since 1995.

"Ms. Johnson brings to the position a broad understanding of both legal perspectives and operations in the healthcare field" notes Mr. Rosen. Her experience includes the practice of corporate law, regulatory and governmental affairs, and litigation.

Ms. Johnson received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Providence College and her law degree from St. John's University School of Law. She is a member of the American Healthcare Lawyers Association, and the New York State Bar Association. Prior to joining Brookdale, she was a litigator in a New York Law firm, and served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York.
