Neighborhood Health Providers (NHP) is a Medicaid-managed care plan that Flushing Hospital Medical Center, along with Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, owns. NHP is licensed by the New York State Department of Health and boasts affiliations with over eight major hospital/healthcare systems such as Flushing's.

Recently, Neighborhood Health Providers began offering Child Health Plus, a New York State subsidized health insurance plan for children who are not eligible for Medicaid. Child Health Plus provides a range of benefits including primary and specialty care. The cost of Child Health Plus is either free or can cost as little as $9.00 per child, according to household income. Children can qualify for this program if they live in Brooklyn or Queens, are under age 19, are not eligible for Medicaid, and do not have equivalent healthcare coverage.
